Can I still use my candy colour past its expiry date.
We say yes, it’s safe. Food colors have no raw ingredients that may expire. Because it is a “food item” it is required to have an expiration date. However, it is such a waste to throw out a barely used food color because it’s past the expiration date.”
This label simply means that the oil may still be safe to use after the date on the bottle, but it will be at its best quality before that date. You can use the vegetable oil up to one year past the date on the bottle if it has been stored properly.

How to Use:
Slowly add one drop of Candy Colors at a time until you’ve achieved your desired shade. Adding just a small amount of the concentrated formula at once will enable you to achieve the exact shade you want.
Do you know the saying, “they mix like oil and water”? Oil and water don’t mix, which is why you want to avoid using a water-based food coloring with any oil-based products. Candy Colors are specially formulated to mix well with fat-based products such as chocolate.
